Comedian-choreographer Adrienne Truscott and Dublin-based performance makers Brokentalkers have tickled Edinburgh Fringe, and the world, with Masterclass. Now it’s slinging its rifle, polishing its loafers and heading for RISING. 
The show begins as a playful parody of the tweed-clad cult of male genius. Then things take a turn for the meta in the second act when the satire zooms in on “half-baked male allyship”. All-round good guy Fieldlim Cannon plays a blazer-clad talk show host interviewing a Hemingway-esque writer (Truscott) who&#39;s espousing a masterclass on playwriting. 
It’s a savage, big-wigged comedy that scuffs the varnish of privilege and power.

There are two accessible parking spaces directly in front of the Malthouse Theatre Building on Sturt Street, and two spaces to the rear of the Malthouse Workshop on Dodds St.

Located at the main entrance for the Workshop space, on the far side of the Outdoor Stage area, when you enter the precinct from Sturt Street.

One accessible bathroom located in the main hall of the Malthouse Theatre, near the bar.

DOG SPENDING/REST AREA

The Workshop is adjacent to a large outdoor gravel area.

HEARING LOOP / ASSISTIVE LISTENING  

Malthouse offers a Hearing Assistance System which allows patrons using a hearing aid to tune into the frequency of that venue. For patrons without a hearing aid, they offer a similar system and provide the patron with headphones. These systems are available for all mainstage performances in the Merlyn and Beckett Theatre.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

The Malthouse—home of Malthouse Theatre—houses two indoor theatres, an outdoor stage, rehearsal studios, meeting rooms, a bar, and a cafe. Wherever possible, they aim to make their spaces wheelchair accessible. Below you will find information about the wheelchair access for each of the spaces.
